There are two main categories of people who collide with the problems when they apply for the receiving of the credits cards: the people with low incomes and the people with bad credit history. Usually it is almost impossible to get the credit for such people. But nowadays the credits became more accessible to the people. It became possible because of great competition in the credit field during the last years. Many new members of credit market appeared and the consumers got more opportunities to receive the credit card. Many providers of the credit cards from the other countries, especially from the United States, try to enter the local UK market. Besides, with the development of the computer technologies, many internet and other distant providers on the credit card market appeared. These providers usually give the credits to the shady creditors.

The development of the credit card market simplified the access of the students to the credits. Today they have an opportunity to pay for the goods and services through the internet. The students can also use these credit cards while the traveling abroad and it makes the trips more convenient.

But there are some disadvantages of student’s credit cards. The main disadvantage is that it is quite easy to get into debts with the credit card. The credit limits on these cards are quite high and the students often do not pay attention on the dept and do not think about the future. The owning of the credit card needs a lot of responsibility and self – control, it means that the people who do not have such features must find another tool of payment.

The students usually receive the credit cards from the providers quite easy, but they must be very responsible and to obey all the necessary rules. In this case the credit card will become the easy and convenient tool of payment.
